You are a First Time Student at MCC if you have graduated high school, have your GED, or want to start at MCC to then transfer to another school.

If you’re looking to start at MCC and then transfer, you can explore transfer programs. Plus, the MCC Transfer Center is here to help you with transfer planning and on-campus connections to college and university representatives.

02 Apply and Confirm Your Attendance Applying is always free. Once you create an account and complete an application, you will receive an email asking to confirm your attendance.

03 Get Financial Aid MCC is committed to connecting you to the resources you need to pursue your goals. All students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and MCC offers a variety of resources to help.

04 Choose a Time and Attend New Student Orientation Next up, attend New Student Orientation online or in-person. This is a valuable session that will set you up for success as you start at MCC.

05 Meet with a Success Navigator Navigators can help customize an educational plan that works for you and set up your first quarter at MCC.
