OSHA Forklift Operator Training

Forklifts are essential equipment used in multiple work sites. Proper forklift training delivers an efficient, productive, and safety-oriented workplace. This four-hour course is an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) forklift training covering the standards required for any employee who operates this machinery.

Participants will learn to maneuver the forklift through an obstacle course including performance of basic lift movements, all under the supervision of a certified trainer operator. This course meets the OSHA classroom training requirements. Upon successful demonstration of OSHA safety and compliance standards, participants receive a certificate of completion.  

Individuals who aspire to work as a forklift operator or in a warehouse, supply chain, manufacturing, construction, or similar work environment. OSHA forklift training can help minimize accidents in the workplace while reducing financial losses from damaged equipment and inventory.  

Four-hour course, in person.

OSHA Forklift Operator Training - prepares participants using OSHA classroom training requirements for the operation of a powered industrial truck. Upon successful demonstration of OSHA safety and compliance standards, participants receive a certificate of completion.  

$185 includes course and certification fees.  

To be successful in OSHA Forklift Operator Training, participants must be able to meet the following sensory and physical standards.

Ability to use senses	Visual acuity to identify, read, and understand directions on equipment and other documents required in forklift operation, such as safety and operator procedures Ability to see at a distance, and distinguish distance, colors, objects, and persons Ability to hear sounds and warning signals, which could lead to an emergency requiring some type of proactive or reactive response Ability to detect and tolerate smells that may unpleasant or indicate a possible danger
