The general scholarship application needs to be completed once per academic year. Throughout the year, students are encouraged to check the Scholarship Dashboard in AwardSpring to see if they have any follow up work to complete.
- For current MCC students - your current program of study has already been recorded for you.
- For new/returning students - if your program of study is not listed, select Other/Not Listed.
- For current MCC students - your current GPA has already been recorded for you.
- For new/returning students - enter your last known cumulative high school or college GPA.
Your AwardSpring Dashboard will indicate your application has been submitted and you will receive an email notification as confirmation.
- Current MCC students have access to workshops and individualized help at MCC campuses and online. Visit the MCC Writing Center for more information or to make an appointment.

Students are required to write a thank you letter in the scholarship acceptance form that accompanies a scholarship offer. Basic elements of a thank you letter include a greeting; an expression of gratitude for the scholarship; how the scholarship impacts you; and a closing signature.
