Overview
The Computer Technology Transfer degree options (Computer Science and Management Information Systems) prepares MCC students who are planning to transfer and complete a four-year degree in information technology at a four-year college or university. Specifically, these degrees are optimized for maximum credit transferability for students planning to enroll at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Students seeking to transfer to another four-year institution should consult with both advising staff at that intended institution and their assigned MCC academic advisor for additional guidance. These additional steps will help to ensure these pathways of study will allow you to most efficiently meet your educational goals.
Computer Science graduates become software and web developers, computer system engineers, database administrators, computer systems analysts, and software quality assurance engineers.
Management information systems graduates become business and IT managers, business or technology analysts, database managers, computer systems analysts, and software quality assurance engineers.
