MCC Accreditation

College and Program Accreditation at MCC

Accreditation is a voluntary evaluation of colleges and universities. The process compares the College to established standards and is conducted by a reviewing agency. MCC follows a 10-year open pathway accreditation to ensure it aligns to established standards.

MCC has been an accredited institution since 1979 and is currently accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. In January 2023, MCC accreditation was reaffirmed by the Higher Learning Commission through the 2032-2033 academic year.
